"When women support each other, incredible things happen"
- Steph, Founder of Rooh Collective

Our Mumbai studio is run by two talented women, Meenu and Shashi. They are an integral part of our team and manage the core operations of our studio, watching over the making of our designs and ensuring their staff are happy and respected.

Empowering women is a core value of ours at Rooh Collective, as we want to showcase the talent that our female artisans have, and prove that they are a valuable and essential part of the community, especially in such a male-driven society as India. We provide them all with the necessary training, a safe place to work, access to all important amenities, and pay them a fair wage so they can work proudly knowing they are supporting their families whilst making our beautiful pieces.

We want you to know that there are real people with real stories behind our dresses. By providing fair and equal opportunities to both men and women, we are able to celebrate their skills, craftsmanship and creativity whilst ensuring these artisans are not exploited by larger manufacturers who do not favour gender equality.

Every purchase you make at Rooh Collective supports our artisans and fosters their empowerment.
